The ICT Infrastructure Management role involves the design, implementation, and management of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud systems. This position requires a strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and system administration to ensure that infrastructure components are operating smoothly, securely, and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring infrastructure performance, performing regular maintenance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Additionally, the role will require collaboration with IT security teams to protect against cyber threats and ensure business continuity through disaster recovery and backup planning. This is a hands-on technical role that plays a vital part in ensuring the IT backbone of the organization supports business objectives effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of IT infrastructure to support business operations
• Monitor network performance and optimize infrastructure components for reliability and efficiency
• Oversee data backup and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity
• Collaborate with IT security teams to safeguard infrastructure against cyber threats and vulnerabilities
• Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades to keep the infrastructure up to date
• Provide technical support and guidance to other IT staff and departments as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues to minimize downtime and disruptions

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Systems, or System Development
• In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, server management, and data center operations
• Proficiency with networking technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN, etc
• )
• Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Strong skills in system administration (Windows, Linux, Unix)
• Understanding of IT security practices, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
